Hello all, I have been playing around with Freevo for a couple of days on now, and I must confess I would like to tune some little things up :
1. Speeding up directory retrieval (freevo cache mechanism) May I say this stuff is sometimes *really* long when run on big dirs ? Is it possible to switch the cache off and display stuff directly from hard drive ? 2. Xmms frontend I am not really keen on the built-in freevo player. It does not seem to be designed for a massive jukebox usage. I would like to use something more deeply based on xmms, which would be able to show some stats in the idlebar, show the active playlist... In this context, the content browser (mediainfo.py and stuff) shall only send entries to the current xmms playlist info... Are these ideas currently under developpement (or even... accessible) ?
