I don't like the current tv grid at all. Too much informations on a
small space. But your ideas could be added very easy by defining two
layouts for the tv guide so you can toggle between the one with info
area and without.

Problem is: freevo gui and menu code doesn't know that you have
colored buttons. It's just an event.
