Hi ,
pydirectfb & freevo almost works. During startup I get the messages you
can see below.
I've already searched the freevo mailing lists and I've seen you've been
working on some imlib2_backend solution which seems to fail.
Any help would be appreciated. And thanks for your support beforehand.

In Freevo be sure to have in your local_conf.py: GUI_DISPLAY = 'DFB'
Right now I think you need to make sure the mode= in /etc/directfbrc
is the same resolution as in freevo.conf, also don't set
primary-layer= but instead use GUI_DFB_LAYER = in freevo_conf.py.
Make sure you configure the mplayer or df_xine args to display on the
right layer too. For example my Freevo is using fbdev primary layer
for the display and I play video on the BES layer (matrox). If you're
using matrox CRTC2 or unichrome (same goes for others) you will have a
similar issue.
