Doesn't work for me either. I have a suspicion that libdirectfb is
grabbing the keyboard & there's no directfb keyboard input module in
freevo 2 at the moment. I was going to have a hack at one yesterday
but failed to accumulate sufficient tuits. You can use SDL, but that
reprogrammed my keyboard map in entertaining (read: non-functional)
ways as I outlined in a previous mail to the list.

I did try turning off the keyboard input modules in /etc/directfbrc
but that didn't help unfortunately.

Does the person who wrote the directfb image stuff use lirc for input
perchance? That would explain the lack of a directfb keyboard input
module!
