Hi all,

What's the overall audio plugin status for freevo 2 ?

Similar to the old one.

Will you reshape the behavior/skins of audio playback ?
I would like to have your feedback about this : what about a 4-view in
playback mechanism ?
Considering a general playlist inside of freevo, we could have :
1. A folder-view (currently mediamenu) view, where we could add
folders in playlist or play directly
2. A current-playlist-only view of what's actually selected, where we
  could remove ones, move others....
3. A splitted view of both mediamenu and playlist
4. A current-song view (actually, when it plays a title)

Add to this the fact that freevo could continue playing a tune while
you could operate on the playlist, browse the mediamenu and add/remove
items at the same side...
That would make freevo a full-featured easily-operable jukebox, and I
guess... I would like it.

I have similar ideas. Like detech the player and add/remove stuff to
the playlist. A playlist view sounds nice, too. But right now I have
other parts on my todo list.

Dischi

Anyway, if you (or someone else) provides the basic schemes and skin framework to do so, I could be interrested in coding the core parts. But as I began to inverstigate and dig in the freevo code, the gui stuff did not appear cleanly to me... I found the mediamenu stuff, the player, the different widgets, but I did not find where to place and/or create new stuff...
