No, it would look like Freevo supporting BitTorrent. What users do with that support isn't the developers' concern. What's considered illegal depends on jurisdiction. For example, in Canada, it's not illegal to download MP3s. I have a problem with statements like "technology X is bad because it enables illegal thing Y." First of all, it makes the implication that X is only useful for Y, and moreover it makes an assumption that Y is illegal for everyone just because it is for you. Statements like these are made by individuals or companies suckling the teat of corporate record and movie industries. I know you well enough to say you don't fall into this category. :) Now, I wouldn't advocate that you go code up bt support because your time is better spent elsewhere. But I definitely take exception with the statement that supporting bt necessarily means Freevo "supports illegal downloads." Jason.
