You could probably write a script that inspects all of Freevo's source to determine what modules it imports, then do the same within /usr/lib/python* and narrow down a list of modules that are needed. > and if you did, how much space would you save? I predict you wouldn't save very much. Maybe 20MB, but it's hard to be sure. But this has a whole list of negative consequences. However much you save, I'm not sure that it would be worth it.
