Sure.  The current interface looks sort of like this: (fixed width ascii
art)

I'd like to completely eliminate this "main menu" page and turn it into
a tab bar across the top and bind buttons to switching the tabs left and
right.  In a sense, you'd be switching from "movie" mode to "music"
mode, etc.

For some things, this makes more sense than a hierarchical menu
structure, especially to people who might not be too familiar with
technology.

Is this possible with the current codebase?
