There is no such thing as a vlc plugin. In svn there is kaa.player, a
generic player we want to use for Freevo 2.0. Right now it supports
mplayer and xine. I also plan to add gstreamer, vlc is not on my list
but if someone wants to do it, no problem, we take what we get.

Kaa.player needs much more work, but I guess you can start creating a
vlc plugin for it. But we want to draw on top of the video, is it
possible with vlc?
