I don't really understand that.  AFAIK, LC_ALL can be used to
*override* all other LC_ settings.  So the question is: Who sets LC_ALL and 
where?  IMHO, the LC_ stuff should *not* be modified within Freevo at all 
(why should Freevo be any different from other apps?), but if you want your 
locale settings to apply, just don't set LC_ALL!  (IIRC, LANG is the 
set-default-for-all-but-dont-override counterpart.)

/me has the feeling that he must be missing something...
