There are quite a few items in the bug tracker, that I've marked as pending.
The meaning of pending it that the bug has been fixed or the patch has been applied. The meaning of closed is that someone has reported it ok and working. The meaning of open is clear and deleted has not yet been used, would use it for duplicate bugs. When the number of items in pending comes down to about 5 then it can be released. So the time for the release is a bit dependent on you guys and galls doing the testing. I would think that a reasonable target would be the *end of this month* for a release, accepting changes until 15th and then only bug fixed. It seems that there was a load of patches that people have wanted to be implemented over the last year, so there was quite a bit of work getting these in to the branch and I expect that now this will become a slower but steady flow.
