And it is related to the having background music, if this is removed the slide show plays correctly. Patch from James Fiore and his comment is: I worked around the problem by applying the following patch to rc.py line 466 but I suspect it's causing a memory leak in python because items are not actually being removed from the callback stack. NOTE ---- This does not completely fix the problems with audio on slide shows.
