Summary: detached music player status
Initial Comment:
The detached music player status size is 3 lines in the
lower right corner. This text is a bit in the way when
viewing the epg. It would be better to display one
(longer) line at the bottom, or make its position
configurable.
Also a different color (yellow?) and a slightly bigger
font would be nice to make it stand out more.

I would highly recommend the use of the idlebar, the
detached player will then be in the idlebar and it is quite
readable. Plus with Hans' plug-in:
plugin.activate('idlebar.diskfree', level = 40)
you know how much space there is for recordings
I also find the clock very useful just so that I know what
time it is and that the PC clock is correct.
plugin.activate('idlebar.clock', level = 50, args='%a %d %H:%M')
BTW seconds are useless as the clock plugin is not polled
one a second.
Do you still want a fix, if it is possible?

Do you have idlebar plugin enabled?
I see the detached music player in the idlebar not at the
lower righthand corner.
