To prevent getting the testing directory as well then you can use:
svn co svn://svn.freevo.org/freevo/branches/rel-1-6/freevo freevo-1.6

Would it be possible to include the updated ChangeLog and RELEASE_NOTES
somewhere, I think from reading you message this is already planned. I
think that more could go into the release notes.

Would anybody like to update the Wiki's
http://freevo.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/doc/SourceDependencies it's a bit
out of date, even for 1.5.4.
