I'll probably did not explain the bug correctly enough. The second url (in my first post) is to visually _verify_ that something goes wrong. The thing is that the second gives correct information, but the one used in the weather plugin does not (always). Thus, the 'makeWeatherObj()' contains outdated information (just hit reload a few times and look at the 'this.swLastUp' line). I am not expecting anything from freevo. I just wanted to post a bug, I am only suggesting that as a possible solution, it might be usefull to check out the RSS feed, which probably contains the same information, and possibly in an also easily parsable format (could be that I am mistaken about the information in this feed). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Duncan Webb (duncanwebb) Date: 2006-12-29 00:31 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=104395 Originator: NO I'm not exactly sure what you want freevo to do about this. There is a simpler idlebar plugin for weather which is an ideal candidate for Pymetar. The weather plugin could use Pymetar http://www.schwarzvogel.de/software-pymetar.shtml for receiving information from National Weather Service but we'll lose the four day forecast.
