Hi,
I fell about the following problem, when I tried to test freevo2.0.
I included my media file directories in the automatically created
freevo2.conf file.
After that the freevo main menu shows entries for the corresponding
media as expected. But when I select such a media menu entry, freevo
freezes. In the shell I got the following message:
ERROR __init__(1072): Authentication failed
ERROR __init__(1072): Authentication failed
Freevo is not responding to any keystroke anymore.
Then I type Ctrl+c in the parent shell to kill freevo,
which brings up the following messages:

The freevo window remains open and an empty directory menu is shown.
(in reality the directory is not empty...)
Now freevo is again responding to keyboard input. I can exit the menu
and go back to the main menu.
When I again try to select a media menu entry, freevo freezes again, but
this time without an error message in the shell.
Ctrl-c again brings the error message and trace mentioned above.
But this time freevo stayed freezed and did not open an empty menu.
So far only the tvmenu and the shutdown menu are working for me :-(
If I select "recorded shows" from the tvmennu, then freevo freezes, too.
Again the only messages that I get are:
ERROR __init__(1072): Authentication failed
ERROR __init__(1072): Authentication failed
But this time, when I use ctrl+c, freevo shuts down at once.
I hope these descriptions help you to solve the problem.
