Hello folks, just wanted to ask you python folks, is the function *replace_special_char* from cdbackup.py supposed to also replace the backslash character? If yes, well, it didn't for me and as a result, I can't see but crippled filenames of the ripped MP3's over a samba share, to a CD containing them (a VA compilation, with "Artist \ Song title" actually contained in the track name, and I even suspect the info wasn't fetched from http://freedb.org, but from CDTEXT). It's looking exactly as most of the "Putamayo presents" samplers found on FreeDB, only this one is not yet there (American Blues) and Freevo at least, rips it with backslashes instead of slashes like the mentioned albums).
Anyway, whether if that is still to be fixed or I'm doing something wrong and could set some local_conf.py variable, would it be possible to have yet some other variable in local_conf.py for this, to give the user the possibility to define his own special characters, either to be all replaced by a the same character (either configurable as well in local_conf.py, or hard-coded), or even more detailed, providing the replacement for any special character, or character sequence?)
