To work at kaa.popcorn you need o Basic Python knowledge o Basic knowledge of kaa.base and minimal knowledge of kaa.metadata (you can learn this while coding). No need of the internals of Freevo is required. One idea for kaa.popcorn + SoC is to integrate gstreamer. This means you should know the gstreamer API, Python gstreamer bindings and some C if something is missing inside gstreamer itself. Deadline for registering at Google is tomorrow.
