Try adding to local_conf.py the following: LOGGING = logging.DEBUG RECORDSERVER_LOGGING = logging.DEBUG and, of course have: DEBUG = 1 CHILDAPP_DEBUG = 1 I was just investigating you're bug that you reported and don't quite see what is happening. How are you exiting the xine, pressing esc or the exit button on the remote?
