Hi *,

as can be read on the front page news "Twisted-2.5.0 has some changes
that are not compatible with Freevo, stick to 2.4.0."

My question is: Is this going to be addressed sometime?
I didn't find it on the WishList [1].

The workaround (keeping 2.4) is working for most users right now, but
I'm afraid problems are going to increase when depending on
an "outdated" version of a package. For once, the latest twisted-web
(0.7.0) does not work with 2.4 anymore. Second, at least for Gentoo I
am running into problems because both twisted-2.4 and twisted-2.5
cannot be installed at the same time, which is causing more bugs on the
distribution site [2]. Also, I saw Debian moving to twisted-2.5 for
their current testing distribution (lenny).

Any ideas how to proceed with this besides saying "Doesn't work with
2.4"?

Regards,

Robert
