This is a real pain, the problem is that sometimes the
record_schedule.xml gets corrupted. I don't know why.

I saw this in the bug report that record_schedule.xml was deleted. The
real problem is that the favourites and scheduled recording are mixed
together in the same file, a bit of a design failure.

Keep a backup copy of record_schedule.xml after you have added back the
favourites. It should be in the ~/.freevo/static or /var/lib/freevo
directory.
