Hi Dischi, Sorry to bug you. Have you had any time to look at this? As an end user I can report that Xine and Mplayer "just work" with the card. I discovered last night that mythtv (sorry to mention the competition) had some patches which made it usefull on the PS3 so I tried that lastnight. It seems to have a similar issue with this card. MythTV is alot more user abstrated than freevo is. It found the card ok but was unable to "use" it. I didn't have any further chance to investigate what if any errors it generated. One worthwhile note is that I'm running a recent V4L dump (only a few weeks old).
