Right, kaa.notifier is the way to go. Freevo 2 has no DaemonPlugins anymore, every plugin kann schedule stuff as it wants. If the action is blocking (e.g. reading a website), you could also use a thread with kaa.notifier. def do_something_in_a_thread(arg1, arg2): [...] def result(r): handle result in mainloop kaa.notifier.Thread(do_something_in_a_thread, 1, 7).start().connect(result) -- Love is Hate.
