..if you know that it's there.  There's a difference between stuff that you 
svn delete because you have e.g. ported the code completely to a newer 
API/language/... and thus replaced it, and code which is outdated, maybe 
unmaintained, but not 100% replaced.  The latter should be more accessible; 
if you svn del' it, you should probably write some documentation about 
outdated modules and how to access them, put tarballs in an "older kaa 
subpackages" section on a website etc. - this just seems to be an 
alternative, more simple approach.
