Sorry I've not responded sooner to your email, been very busy as of late. 
I don't think you issue is the same as freevo won't start let alone start 
the input helper. The best thing to do is check the inputhelper log files 
in the freevo log directory to see what the issue is. You could also try 
running in manually ie
freevo inputhelper
