Hi all, I've got Freevo pre2 set up and going.
However, when I play a widescreen AVI (i.e. not 4:3 aspect), I is not centered on the screen. (using xv) I'm aware of the FAQ topic #9. (At bottom of email) However, I've since build the latest mplayer (0.90rc4) and this works (the movie is centered) fine with the exact command line (except for -wid) as freevo sends. I've since reconfigured freevo to use the compiled mplayer (I renamed runtime/apps/mplayer... to be sure), and it is still a problem when run under freevo. Has anyone managed to sort this out, or it is a problem with freevo itself? Thanks, Craig ---- 9 If I watch a movie that has a different aspect ratio than the TV/monitor (i.e. is letter-boxed, e.g. 16:9), the movie is displayed at the top of the screen. In other words, it is not vertically centered. This is a known problem with the X11/Xv display in MPlayer, hopefully this will be fixed later. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Freevo-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freevo-users
