I am having two problems with pre2.
First, START_FULLSCREEN_X has no effect. Freevo always has a menubar at the top that I have to hit "z" to get rid of. Why?
What is 'display' set to in your freevo.conf? This only works when display is set to 'x11' but should be changed to allow 'xv'. The way fullscreen in X works not is a bit wrong anyways and should be fixed. I will take a look at it later.
Second, I cannot play DVDs. In the movies menu, Freevo always shows:
Drive DVD (no disc)
There is a disc in the drive. I have tried letting freevo use the fstab to determine where the drives are. I have also tried setting the ROM_DRIVES variable:
ROM_DRIVES = [ ('/mnt/cdrom', '/dev/cdrom', 'DVD') ]
This line worked in freevo 1.3.1.
When you rely on the fstab way make sure ROM_DRIVES isn't set in local_conf.py. This is really the only thing I can think of for this right now. Is your fstab correct, can you just type mount /mnt/cdrom and it works?
When I try to play a DVD, freevo says "No action defined for this choice."
This might go away when the above is fixed.
