Thanks for the prompt responses! After I sent that message it hit me that I wasn't sure how to implement the video card. USB makes sense, but how is USB fast enough to transfer video? Firewire I could understand, but how reliable are USB TV cards in the first place?
I guess the reason I am really looking at the XBOX is because it seems to me that this would be the cheapest way to do it. Eventually MS will release XBOX2 and the original XBOX will be a dime a dozen. This opens up a lot of possibilities. BTW, I just discovered Freevo for the first time today. The screenshots are very impressive.
