Hi,

I have some problems trying te get Mplayer inside freevo working correctly with my
remote controll.

I'm using the simple homebuild serial ir-receiver from the lirc-project. I've got the
lirc part of the setup working as I can see the raw-scancode from the "mode2" program
and the translated button-signals from the "irw" program. After downloading and
unpacking the freevo-1.3.2-pre2.tar.gz package (are there any debian packages??) I'm
now at the point that I created the /etc/freevo/lircrc file according to the given
examples and got the freevo-menu to respond to my remote (the commands
UP,DOWN,LEFT,RIGHT,SELECT & EXIT).

>From reading the documentation I understand Freevo listens to lirc, and mplayer
>should listen to freevo, is this correct? My problem is with the connection between
>freevo and mplayer. What do I have to configure so that mplayer also responds to my
>remote?? At the moment mplayer completely ignores all buttons. I can start a movie
>with the freevo-menu but can't stop it or ffwd,rew,pause..... etc by remote.

Hope sombody kan explain me wat I'm forgetting.
