i wonder whether somebody here has some knowledge about how the framebuffer device timing stuff works? i'm watching for a couple of weeks now with diagonal rgb lines in my picture until i find out today that the reason is the standard settings in the freevo script don't work for my pal 100hz television. i tried to fiddle around with the settings and it got slightly better. however, i feel that i couldn't find the correct settings without proper knowledge what is really happening there. so i would greatly appreciate any hints on that!
