I have 2 questions. I'm starting to feel guilty, because it seems that on
this listserv, my question to answer ratio isn't anywhere near even. :)

1) I have freevo (precompiled, all in one, binary tarball) running on
RedHat 9.0, using x11 and an i810 integrated video chipset. My screen
blanks after 20 minutes or so, and I can't figure out for the life of me
how to make it stop... I realize it's really a linux question, and not a
freevo question, but MAN it's driving me nuts! When watching a movie, the
screen does not blank, but when it's done playing, the screen goes to
black until I press a key.

I think I have disabled all APM stuff, both in bios and in startup, but I
seem to be missing something... Any kind linux buffs willing to share
*how* to stop power management from shutting off my screen? (I also
commented "option" "DPMS" out of XF86Config, because it looked like it had
to do with power management...

2) Is it complicated to change the behavior of the menu navigation in
freevo? For example, if I wanted to change it so that when pressing down
at the bottom of a screen would go to the next page, rather than needing
to press "right" or select "Next page" and enter.. ? In the grand scheme
of things, it's obvious this isn't very important, but I'm curious if it
is able to be customized or not.

Thank you all in advance,
-Shawn
