G'day guys, i'm in need of mplayer help..

When watching tv through xawtv, i can adjust the tv color, contrast,
brightness and hue.

This is great, as my color is way to strong and bleeds everywhere...

In mplayer, I can only find settings for:

# -saturation <-100-100> (my card doesn't appear to support this)
# -contrast <-100-100>
# -brightness <-100-100>

No color.. I've tried to reduce brightness, but the color is so strong
that when there are dark pictures the patches of red's etc just glow.. a
nice eary effect but not what i want when recording..

So, to keep it simple i guess I have 3 questions..

1. does anyone know of mplayer options for color? maybe its hidden
somewhere or maybe i'm just plain stupid??

2. what about timeshift app, mp1e? if it has it then i will try to get
this working instead... I'm relatevly linux newb so i'm a little
affraid to tackle this and especially if my color problems are still
going to be evident..

3. or does anyone have any other suggestions to work around this?
playering dvd's and avi's are fine, so i'm not keen on adjusting the
display properties, but if it can be done on a per application level
then maybe thats the quickest way..

Cheers,
Mick
