I am not using the scheduling stuff since I don't get xmltv output where I am, but I think it's not really working (up to -pre4) except in CVS.
It works in both -pre4 and CVS but there is a lot of work still being done.
Are you referring to VCR_CMD in freevo_config.py? I think that's obsolete. Freevo doesn't use that even in -pre4 AFAIK.
Yes, it still uses VCR_CMD. Even the new record server's generic_record.py plugin uses VCR_CMD (just sligntly different options format).
TV Recording is still a work in progress. Some else better comment on this issue.
Yes, a work in progress, but it has been to the point where you can reliably record things for a while now.
