I'm not sure. Maybe pressing ENTER on the item, than selecting
'Configure' will make you able to select audio and subtitle. I noticed
last weekend that is is sometimes broken. But we want to integrate
mmpython for detection of that stuff in the near future. That should
fix. [1]

Not now. Mplayer doesn't support dvd menus. After moving to mmpython
mplayer for video will be a plugin and someone could start writing
xine.py or whatever.

It should work. The detection is based on ioctls. Do other cd player
(like kcd for KDE) work?
