Hi, I use Freevo on a modified Shuttle XPC (SN41G) and Suse Linux 8.2. My graphic card is a Geforce4 460. While using the closed source Nvidia drivers i've been able to use Twinview for tv-out (Cloning). But this means that the overlay feature of the Nvidia Hardware is disabled for both screens (CRT and TV-out). That results in a lot of tearing (horizontal lines) while playing movies. So i configured the system for DualHead (as described in the Nvidia-Readme) with two independent sreens (tv-out: 800x600 and TFT: 1280x1024) XF86Config: 2 Monitor Sections, 2 Device Sections, 2 screen sections and one ServerLayout. In Dualhead-Mode i'm able to start freevo on the tv without tearing...but Freevo gabs the mouse and the keyboard, so i'm not able to work on screen 1 (TFT). Then i tried to start two separate xservers by creating a second ServerLayout Section. The tv-out xserver has to be started first to get screen 0...that works fine....but after that i try to start a second xserver on vt 8 with TFT or CRT support...that fails: Error: no matching device section for PCI:1:0:0 found...
Has anyone some ideas to get this configuration working ??? ____________________________________________________________________________ Nur bei WEB.DE Testsieger FreeMail testen und damit 1 qm Regenwald schuetzen.
