It's easier to do a complete CVS checkout to some directory, and do 
a 'make release'; then use the freevo-cvs.spec file to rebuild a new
freevo RPM. The other stuff (runtime, apps) can be used as is and doesn't 
need to be rebuilt.

You may have to tweak the freevo-cvs.spec a little depending on what has
changed and/or what you'd like to include.
