I'm not sure about time shifting, but realize as well that freevo is at

Hats off to whomever decided to install all the runtime, etc inclusive.  And

as far as "frontend and backend" things are concerned...  I hope freevo
keeps 
itself free from dependencies.  It's so simple to set up.

That got me to wondering, I know the mention of some sort of simple
databasing 
was discussed a while back to facilitate some more elaborate functions 
(especially where jukebox type smart playlists are involved) -- does there 
exist a simplistic (preferably python) database engine that could be
included 
in the freevo.tgz as part of the runtime?

...just curious
