In short, the G400 Marvel will give you the same sort of trouble your AIW gives you. Get a G400 dual-head card, build or buy the tv-out cable, and get a bt878 based tv tuner card as well. You'll use two slots, but you'll be a lot happier. I highly recommend the STB and 3DFX pci tv tuner cards that are seemingly always available on ebay for about $20.
- Eric I assume you are saying that I should get a dual vga head card and that I can make a cable to send the vga signal to a tv but I would think that I would need to add some entries to my XF86Config file to control the paramaters of the second head so that my TV can sync on the signal. Can you steer me in the direction of some docs on the cable and how to setup my configuration files? I have tried to search the mail list but the search engine will not find anything.
