Here's what worked for me: 1. Install ALSA sound drivers, configured for the sblive. Install all the libraries. 2. Compile MPlayer yourself (add support for Quitcktime and Realplayer while your there!) 3. Setup FREEVO using the --sysfirst option. 4. Add the hwac3 bit to your config file.
