Don't know. The good thing about Gentoo and Debian is the package
system. For Gentoo I describe all the deps in a file and Gentoo will
install them when installing Freevo. I don't know if it's possible for
RedHat and SuSE.

Yes, we still should create a runtime. Only for Gentoo it's not the
way to go. Gentoo wants to compile everything itself, the big binary
release is against everything Gentoo means to me.
