I dont know if this helps any... everything in lirc works until I start freevo. freevo does not respond to any of the remote's events. exit freevo and try irw again, I sucessfully see the remote's output events. Checking my /etc/freevo/lircrc it does match the button names in my /etc/lircd.conf
what else can I be missing? lirc is certianly working. could the perl script in freevo/helpers not have created a correct file? how do I know if it is sending the correct events to freevo? where is it documented as to what freevo wants to see for each event?
