Ok, this might not be directly related to freevo, I spoke with rob about this and he said that it might be in mmpython.
But anyway, the problem arised when I upgraded to 1.3.4..

When I start freevo it starts caching information of my files, or something like that.. It uses lots of ram (~200Mb)
and 30-70% of the cpu, making my box too slow to watch tv/movies etc. (512mb ram, duron 800).
This would be ok if it only were for a few sec, or maybee minutes, but in my cache it's more like hours.
It's been caching for about 1,5h atm, and it's still not done.
seems to be quite fast when it's mpeg files, but avi (especially xvid) takes forever.
Almos all video files are accessed via [EMAIL PROTECTED], but it still shouldent take this long...
Anyone run into / solved this problem?, or know if you can disable this feature somehow?
cache would be nice to have, but I dont wanna wait ~2h before I can use my htpc.

It would be quite nice if there were some settings on this cache, like priority and stuff.
If I still could use my htpc during this caching I wouldent mind, or maybee if it could cache the movie/mp3 files
in the current directory (not resorcive) when i'm browsing in the menu. Sure, then I would have to wait a while for
every dir i go through, but it's still better than this..
I have a tv archive (about 400G) with tv-eps, and I dont watch them all that frequently so I need all files to be
cached when I start freevo.

Due to this I cant run 1.3.4, so i'm guess i'm stuck with 1.3.2 atm.

Regards
Johan
