I know this has been covered before but just a tad more info... the following from earlier messages....
The fix for that error was adding the following inside of src/tv/record_daemon.py. Add the following line after "import os". import os os.environ['LD_PRELOAD'] = '' # Add this line to stop GLIBC_2.X preload errors If it works let me know, and I'll go ahead an put this info in the wiki. has been true in my case for all 3 freevo machines I have set up. I NEVER get the error in the logs and the daemon silently dies with no warning. performing the above fixes it every time.
