Ok I solved the compile problem. It should be noted that you MUST use the specific old version of ffmpeg in the wiki in order to get SDL to compile with the dxr3 patches installed.
Second, I have it displaying the freevo GUI and happily playing mp3's ogg's etc... but the second I try to play video or TV it dies with errors. Do I HAVE to use the CVS version of freevo to get the dxr3 video output to work?
