I was in your shoes when I started my Freevo experience. It was a great way to learn!

Some one who understands, often I hear people say learn from the beginning, which is great, but I know I am not made that way...

Any particular guides / howto's that worked particularly for you, Extremetech has a good guide but there are big chunks missing for people just setting out.
