I tried some more stuff to get the VCD menu working. Basically, I
logged in as root and ran freevo from there. I got exactly the same
incorrect two item menu I did when running as normal user "freevo". I
tried changing permissions on /dev/hdb and that didn't help either. In
any case, the incorrect VCD menu is apparently not a permissions
problem. Something else is different between Mandrake 8.2 (which works)
and SuSE 8.2 (which doesn't).
