I will send you a copy once I get home. Don't worry I find that it does miss a little off of the top and bottom of mine.
But I don't have wide screen, but 28" square screen. Plus I have found that in bootup my Nvidia will only display NTSC, does yours do that? If no how did you work round it. I have found that I cant start x automaticly else it just displays NTSC So I log in, then do the following Startx -- -Screen Screen_tvout800 vt8 -----Original Message----- From: John Molohan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 01 October 2003 11:38 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi Paul, Just wondering about your tv out. I have a similar setup (Geforce 4 MX 440 and 28" widescreen), with my tv output I'm missing about an inch and a half from the bottom of the screen, it's something to do with overscan but I haven't had the time to look into it. I'm wondering if you have yours setup properly could you send on a copy of your xf86config. Thanks, John. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Paul > Cowper > Sent: 01 October 2003 11:12 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Freevo-users] My Current Setup > > > Hi all, Just to let you know my current setup > > AMD Athalon (Not Thunderbird or XP) 1.4Ghz > 768 Mb DDR PC2100 RAM > 40 Gb HD (20Gb Linux/ 2x10 GB NTFS - for future windows > install) Nvidia Geforce 4 MX 440 SE Pinicale Studio PCTV (Budget > version) DVD, Films can be sluggish at times CDRW Suse 8.2 > > Freevo Status. > > Version: 1.3.4 (cant get cvs functioning) > Recording Server: Down (Cant get to work) > TV Out: Up and Running on PAL 28" Screen @ 60Hz > DVD Playback: Working with Mplayer, But sluggish at times > XMLTV: Working and up to date > Web Server: Up and running > ZSNES: Working > XMAME: Mame not working with freevo > Movies: Perfect.
