Hi, same problem as always. It's easy to install Freevo on Gentoo and Debian because they both can resolve the deps. RPM doesn't have that feature. What about an install script with the following content:
1. Check distro type (SuSE, Redhat, Mandrake) 2. Check version of the distro (RedHat 9.0 vs. RedHat 8.x) 3. Based on distro and version, this script could know what RPMs Freevo needs. This will be hardcoded in the script, so we need the informations from you. 4. Download the RPMs. The locations of them should also be hardcoded in the script. 5. Install all deps and Freevo We need from you: o a list of deps from the different distros and versions o a list where to download the files Please help use here to make installation easier.
