I think you may have the order of operation backward. If you want to play music form the cd and see the cover art, then lookup the cover when browsing the cd.
If all you want to do is rip the tracks and then have the cover art for the ripped tracks, then first rip the tracks and then look up the cover art while browsing the ripped tracks.
