Hey all, I have ran into a interesting situation. I have mplayer compiled with faad support. And if I run mplayer from the terminal it plays all my files fine, mp3, ogg, and m4a (AAC).

In Freevo the m4a files will not play, the screen sits there for a couple of seconds then it pops back to the list of files. .mp3 and .ogg are running totally fine.

I checked in freevo_conf.py (since the file types aren't listed by default in local_conf.py) and it has .m4a listed as a file type to recognize.

Also no messages concerning this pop up in the terminal I am launching freevo from.

I saw in the archives that other people were having issues with these files, but it seems most of the advice was building with faad support which I have done successfully, and none replied back to say whether they were successful or not.

Thanks in advance for any help.
